This life . . .
It can be beautiful —and— so very painful.
Sickness. Suffering. Loneliness. Loss
None of us are immune to what life can give.
What it can take away.
We do what we can to endure it, change it, overcome it.
That’s brave. Worthy.
But what happens when that doesn’t work?
When life keeps knocking us down again and again?
How can we stand under the weight of it all?
We can’t.
We weren’t intended to.
There is Someone.
Someone who experienced the worst of this world.
And infinitely more.
Intentionally. On purpose. For us …
For you.
In this world you will have suffering, but take heart!
I have conquered the world!

You don’t have to go through this life without hope. Without help.
There is a gift waiting for you.
A way to experience deep and lasting joy.
A resilient, defiant kind of joy. One that doesn’t require:
our circumstances getting better
us having it all together
any other fallible, fading thing
In your Presence is the fullness of joy.
